Pamela’s Sausage Stuffing



Ingredients
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 pkg Jimmy Dean Sausage (Hot) - I used regular today
  • 1 Pkg (bag) Pepperidge Farm Stuffing
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 stick butter



Preparation
  • Cook sausage over medium-high heat until well done.  Remove sausage, but keep skillet and drippings.  Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Using the same skillet, sauté onions, celery and mushrooms until tender.
  • In large pot, bring the chicken broth and butter to boil.  Remove from heat and add stuffing, mixing well.  Add onions, mushrooms, celery and sausage to stuffing. Mix well.
  • Place stuffing in shallow baking dish and cover with foil.  Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until hot.
